We booked the cheapest room without a lake view. Room was cozy and big enough to store luggage and move around in. The lake view from the dining room is spectacular. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant in the morning sitting by the window. Ample parking though you'll have to walk about 7 minutes from the parking to the hotel if arriving in the afternoon. Elevator was out. They need to fix that.
We loved our stay at Loch Ness Clansman Hotel. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. Food and drink was lovely and tasty. We really enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely amazing experience. All I would say to people reading the reviews is, some people just can’t be happy with anything. Booked my stay from 4th to 11th October. Unfortunately storm Amy ruined day for everyone but the hotel was helpful and managed to get us booked into another hotel for the night. All staff member were absolutely amazing, we had all our breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant, the choices for Gluten Free people were amazing. Food and service was exceptional. The view of Loch Ness everyday from your bedroom and breakfast table was something I would alway cherish. Once again a big thank you to everyone who helped us. Rohan
Nice little stop off along the banks of Loch Ness, super little restaurant with views of the loch and good food to fuel you up for your journey ahead. It also has a nice little gift shop down stairs, not a bad little stop off point.
Had a fantastic experience here! Rooms are clean and comfortable, warm towels in the bathroom and gorgeous views out of the windows. Building is a bit old but that adds to the charm and it is extremely well kept. Staff is kind and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. The best we’ve had on our trip. Drinks were phenomenal as well! And they give you a “loch ness passport” which gives you buy one get one on tickets for the cruise (which was absolutely amazing) as well as whiskey tours and the Loch Ness center. Absolutely wonderful and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area. Would stay again!!! Thank you!!!
Had the coziest stay here. Breakfast by the window overlooking Loch Ness was unmatched, food was great, service was so friendly. Enjoyed a relaxing evening on the couches by the bar trying some of their scotch collection and Magners on tap (Our fave!) We still talk about how perfect our stay was over a year later and anyone who is planning on going a trip to Scotland needs to stay here!
Great service. The staff were fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights and every member of staff we encountered was polite, professional and friendly. There was a problem with our room and it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Everywhere was impressively clean and tidy, especially given the amount of visitors during the day. The breakfast was consistently brilliant and the view from the restaurant was spectacular. The underpass right outside to the Loch and boat trip was a great bonus. We found the beds uncomfortable, very soft. There was very little choice in the restaurant for us as vegetarians plus it was quite expensive for the meals on offer - £18 for pasta, £19 for fish and chips was high compared to other places locally.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, although some might be a bit on the smaller side, but the picturesque setting makes up for it. With direct access to Loch Ness, the hotel is a perfect spot for boat tours. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, combining scenic beauty with great service and food. Highly recommended for those exploring the Loch Ness area!
